It it great to hear that the Awards are coming back. It is an important boost of recognition that people who put a lot of work into music and musicians need. We will be glad to submit again. It is a great initiative and we wish it further development.

From a musicians viewpoint the awards provide recognition to the too often overlooked part of the music business – sure it is about music and that is the primary focus however too often the all important task of making the stuff look good goes unnoticed. Largely with little spec or concept and an even smaller budget artists continue to bring life to musical projects and are an integral part the music business and scene. In my view the Qmda not only allows for artists to celebrate success but also provides an opportunity for the industry as a whole to thank these often overlooked miracle workers.
